about

South Of The River is a day in the life of George, a charity fundraiser from Merton, in South London. He’s good at his job – be it in the streets, on the phones or at people’s doors – charming the old and wowing the young, and making it all look so easy. But when the day’s virtuous work is done, he goes home aimless and alone. All that keeps him from going over the edge is the same fantasy that gives him the power to win hearts for his cause. He is the lone wanderer. He is the purveyor of justice. He is the man with no name.
